Enterprise Dashboard — Full Platform Tour

📄 4 min read 🎯 Beginner 📦 ACA Foundations module 🏢 Applicare Product Team

The command center

The Enterprise Dashboard is the first thing most Applicare users see, and it's designed to answer one question fast: what's the state of my estate right now? It pulls together live KPIs, per-application health, transaction trends, and infrastructure signals into a single view, so you don't have to jump between separate tools to get a full picture.

What you'll find on the dashboard

  • Live KPIs summarizing the health of your monitored estate at a glance.
  • Per-application health status, so you can see which applications need attention first.
  • Transaction trend data, showing how key transactions are performing over time.
  • Infrastructure signals from the hosts, containers, and services behind your applications.

From dashboard to topology

Everything on the Enterprise Dashboard is a starting point, not a dead end. From any KPI or application tile, you can navigate directly into the live service topology — the same causal entity graph that powers root cause analysis elsewhere in Applicare — to see how the piece you're looking at connects to everything around it.

Why it's the recommended starting point

This is the featured lesson in the ACA Foundations module for a reason: nearly everything else in Applicare builds on the mental model you form here. Once you're comfortable reading the Enterprise Dashboard, the more specialized dashboards — Management Dashboard, Monitored Resources, and the rest — will make a lot more sense.

  • Recognize the main regions of the Enterprise Dashboard and what each one surfaces.
  • Read fleet-wide health and per-application status at a glance.
  • Locate transaction trends and infrastructure signals from the same view.
  • Navigate from the dashboard into the live service topology.
