User Management

Manage access through your identity provider with SSO and SCIM, or invite users directly. Users belong to teams, and teams map to the roles that govern what they can see and do.

SSO & SCIM#

Applicare supports SAML 2.0 and OIDC for single sign-on, and SCIM for automated provisioning and de-provisioning.

  • Configure your IdP (Okta, Entra ID, Google, Ping) under Settings → Authentication.
  • Map IdP groups to Applicare teams so membership stays in sync automatically.
  • Enable SCIM to auto-remove access when someone leaves a group.

Teams#

Teams organise users and are the unit roles attach to. A user can be in multiple teams; effective permissions are the union of their roles. Scope a team to specific services or environments with tags so responders only see what they own.

Direct invites#

Without SSO, invite users by email under Settings → Users. Enforce MFA for all direct accounts under Security Configuration.
